Hayley Nelke

Hayley earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Architecture from Portland State University. After college she spent time in Utah, working on regenerative building systems for commercial projects, before returning to the Pacific Northwest. For Hayley, architecture is about people, she's drawn to the collaborative process of working through ideas together to reach thoughtful design solutions.

Outside of work, Hayley volunteers with local organizations including Think Wild and The Environmental Center. She spends her free time at observatories, building projects at the makerspace, and hitting the trails with her dogs. Her interests range widely, from 3D printing and helping scan race cars for roll cages to watercolor painting.
