This first building for Innovation Center TCRD, LLC is designed as an example of the world-class quality of the development. The 46,000 square foot structure’s exterior is a mix of classic masonry veneer contrasted with modern horizontal sunscreens, curtain wall glazing, and smooth metal panels. The effect is an elegant and contemporary office building providing a development aesthetic distinct from other structures in the area. It is LEED® Gold Certified. It is a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). The building is designed to high security levels due to the nature of the tenant’s work, including Limited Area Information (LAI), Vault Type Room (VTR) and Property Protected Area (PPA).

Steele Associates designed this 240,000 sf warehouse and 40,000 sf office on an accelerated design (10 weeks total) and construction schedule (6 months – warehouse and 4 months – office) to complete this project on time and within budget. The office building is LEED Certified.

THE STEELE ASSOCIATES BUILDING

This 16,000 SF mixed-use building is our headquarters and was the first commercial building in Bend to achieve a LEED Gold NC Certification. We are strong advocates and practitioners of sustainable design and that is why we chose to lead by example with our own LEED NC Gold Certified building. As a community service and to facilitate sustainable design education our building is open for public tours.

At the fifth annual BetterBricks Awards held October 2007 Scott Steele, the President of Steele Associates Architects, was selected as the winner of the “Emerging Leader” category. The Mill Point Campus is Winner of a Building a Better Central Oregon Award. SAA designed this six building, 140,000 SF class ‘A’ office campus on 10 acres of Deschutes River front property in Bend.

Steele Associates designed this 12,000 SF craftsman style office building for a local insurance company. The floor plan is flexible and accommodates multiple tenant layout options.
