SILVER RAIL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Bend, OR

Steele Associates Architects was selected by unanimous vote to design a new cutting edge elementary prototype to replace the existing one and serve the Bend LaPine School District for years to come. A rigorous analysis of the old prototype and design process for the new one was facilitated to insure that the new school would be a safe, creative, beautiful and durable learning environment with the flexibility to adapt to changes and trends in technology. “Your generous gift of enthusiasm, expertise and time to the School-to-Career Partnership Program gives kids a chance to prepare for the future…You have taught them to utilize their skills, impassion their interests, follow their hearts and “swing for the fences”…”

SISTERS HIGH SCHOOL

Sisters, OR

Steele Associates designed the Sisters High School, recipient of the Oregon DOE Showcase as a High Performance School and the 2003 “Building a Better Central Oregon” Design Award

“However, the most notable work that I want to note was the work Scott and his firm did in all aspects of the design and architectural work for the new Sisters High School completed in 2003. Again Scott was the principal and lead architect for this project. The results are incredible! The facility Scott designed and led his project team to develop is one that has resulted in a tremendous amount of community pride. It is a durable and sustainable school that serves as a center for community activities that I have no doubt will last well into the next century.”

Steve Swisher, Former Superintendent
Sisters School District

“My experience working with Steele Associates has been excellent. They are true professionals who bring deep architectural and education design knowledge combined with outstanding project management skills to your project. I am working with them on a $12 million new middle school project for the Vale School District. Throughout the duration of this project, the entire Steele team has provided excellent service. Their design team is focused and experienced in every aspect of the project, which is being carefully managed to ensure that there is a smooth flow to the work. Their ability to provide timely design and cost information as various issues came up is enabling our team to make informed decisions throughout the process. Anyone would be well served in choosing Steele Associates as an architectural firm or project manager for their upcoming venture.”
