Powers Crossing Retail Center – Bend, OR Steele Associates master
planned this 187,000 sf (4¼-acre) site as a unified development
consisting of 8 buildings (48,000 sf total), to be constructed in
two phases. The site plan is designed to maximize visibility and
access from the adjacent highway, and to take advantage of outstanding
views of the Three Sisters mountains to the west. Included in the
design is a bank with drive-through, two-story restaurant with outdoor
seating, a coffee house, and various retail/commercial spaces. Each
building has its own character within the overall theme of the development,
which utilizes landscaping and trellis elements to create a sequence
of spatial experiences and outdoor areas.
