Madras City Hall And Police Station - Madras, Oregon

This project is designed to replace the existing Madras City Hall and Police Station as their current buildings are inefficient and outdated. A master plan was generated through highly interactive collaboration with the City of Madras and our justice design consultant, KMD, to envision optimum development of the site and future facilities. This new 20,000 sf facility will serve to alleviate the crowded and unpleasant conditions at their existing facilities and offer an efficient, sustainably designed facility to serve the City and its constituents well into the future.

“On the Jefferson County Health Building we needed an independent and professional programming assessment regarding the cost-benefit ratio of remodeling the facility. Steele Associates rapidly turned around a comprehensive report that saved the County hundreds of thousands of dollars that would have been otherwise wasted. On the Madras General Aviation Terminal, Steele Associates was able to give us an initial program and design that captured the physical and aesthetic needs of the project and still stay within budget constraints. The initial design was so thoughtfully put together that it required virtually no alteration which has enabled us to rapidly proceed to final design and bid documents and will enable construction to begin this summer.”
