Existing Sisters High School Repair and Remodel - Sisters, OR. Steele Associates analyzed, designed and repaired the entire exterior of the existing Sisters High School. The nine-year-old school (not designed by Steele Associates) had suffered extensive early deterioration and water damage to the exterior siding. SAA's work also included the installation of snow guards, gutters and perimeter drainage to mitigate snow/ice and drainage problems, and aiding the District with the analysis of mold found growing in the school. The repairs were done on time and under budget. The school district said the building looks better than when it was new.

"It is a pleasure to recommend Steele Associates Architects for public school architecture work, both for new and remodeling projects . . . They designed, reviewed and oversaw the repair work of our current high school . . . which had severe water intrusion problems, even though it was only nine years old . . . The repair project was brought in on time and under budget. The building is in better shape and looks better than when it was new. Steele Associates . . . is currently working on …our new $21 million high school building . . . to date we are pleased with the progress. I hope you give them serious consideration for any public school, new construction or remodel projects of which you may need architectural assistance."
Steve Swisher, Superintendent, Sisters School District
