The Cannery, Walla Walla, Washington

This 10,200 square foot retail shell building was designed for a developer committed to the principals of sustainable development. It is the first of multiple phases, that when complete, will total more than 100,000 square feet of sustainably designed and built retail space. The project is currently being reviewed by the USGBC for certification under Core and Shell Green Building Rating System. The project is situated only blocks from Walla Walla’s, historic downtown. As such, the building was designed to take on the appearance of having multiple storefronts, as if the building had developed over time. The developer has received numerous compliments from the residents of the city on the quality and attractive exterior of the building.
